Our system has the capabilities to use a voice sample for your Versona in a variety of ways. The basic feature is for Voice Memos (messages). Your versona will be capable of speaking their responses as their own voice and show up in your chat message history. This voice response can be downloaded locally for safe keeping or played in our portal directly to listen to.
We also have Voice phone call support for Versona plans with Voice phone call support. This allows you to use your cell phone and call our MyYov phone number to connect to your versona for a live phone call. We are improving latency and making this experience better all the time.
The other area your Versona's voice profile can be used in, is when creating a Video Avatar of your Versona. We can use an existing voice profile with your Video training data so your voice experience is consistent between voice memos, voice phone calls and video avatars.
Note: Video Avatars feature is currently in development and their will be supporting service plans that will support this feature for those that have video samples of their loved one that want to use for their Versona. Stay tuned for the release of video messaging and video calling.
See our supported voice file types and how to prepare your voice sample to be used by our system => Data User Guides.
Note that there are file size limitations for your voice sample. You can get more minutes into your sample with an MP3 vs a WAV file but file size is still limited to 50MB. If you have multiple smaller files, you'll want to combine them into a single file before uploading using free tools like Audacity.
